SILENCE

0

“Silence is golden”, goes a well-known axiom
Silence, I say, can be deafening or defeating
Silence, I say, can be toxic or cathartic
Must you be silent and not defend someone?
Must you be silent and not apologise?
Must you be silent when the truth be spoken?

Be silent no more; Man up! Speak up!
Speak up, Stand up for the Truth;
Speak up, Stand up for yourself
Speak up, Stand up for the oppressed
For the fatherless and the widows
Lest The Son be silent on your behalf
When the Presence of the Father come.
